Co-opted Governor: Mrs Julie Challenger

I have lived in Goole most of my life and work for the local NHS Trust as a senior nurse specialising in End of Life Care. I have always had a keen interest in how the national education agenda is implemented at local level. I held a school governor role for 11 years previously with a special interest in Special Educational Needs and Literacy. I look forward to working with other governors, staff and parents to ensure children attending Kingsway Primary School continue to receive the best education possible. I am the Vice Chair of Governors, Chair of the Teaching & Learning Committee and the Safeguarding Governor Link. I am also responsible for monitoring STEM and Creative aspects of the school curriculum.

Miss Victoria Broadhead

I joined the Governing Body in December 2018. I am an HR Advisor working in the food manufacturing industry for a leading sugar confectionary organisation. Kingsway Primary School has always been close to my heart having spent my early years here as a pupil alongside my younger siblings. I am now also a parent of the school so have had the opportunity to see the school from a different perspective.

In my role as a Governor, I am committed to supporting Kingsway to be the best it can be for all pupils, parents and staff alike. I am currently linked to monitoring the impact of the Pupil Premium Grant.
