Kingsway Primary School offers an out of hours Breakfast Club which operates from 7.30am until 8.45am daily during term time. Children attending are offered a breakfast of cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt, fresh milk and water.
The cost is £3.50 for the first child of each family and £2.50 for each subsequent child thereafter, payable each day or in advance. Payments should be made using the online system. If you do not have a SIMS Agora Account please speak to the Office Staff who will be able to set you one up.
The children are escorted to classes by the play workers at 8.50am. Entrance to the school is via the Reception Area. Play workers meet the children and take them to the Breakfast Club room, which is located in the Dining Hall. Once you have completed a Breakfast Club Registration Form for your child you can use the club as and when needed. So, if there's somewhere you need to be or something you want to do just drop your child off at Breakfast Club; safe in the knowledge that they will have a fun time, a healthy breakfast and a great start to their day!
Breakfast Club is becoming more and more popular with child numbers increasing as parents get to know about the service. There are lots of games, toys, puzzles, books, craft and colouring activities and reading books. Breakfast Club can also be used as an opportunity for your child to catch up with any reading or homework.
If you receive tax credits and work 16 hours or more, you may get help with up to 70% of your childcare costs. Just call Tax Credits Hotline on 0844 496 6511.
If you are interested in reserving a place for your child please contact the school office (01405 763716). The school office can also provide you with a Breakfast Club Registration Form.
